Fixing a Chipped Tooth from Popcorn! Plano, TX***

Over the weekend our patient chipped his front tooth biting into some popcorn. Since it wasn't hurting him he just left a message on our answering service, and we were able to get him in first thing Monday morning. Dr. Tim Nguyen was able to fix this emergency chipped tooth immediately with some simple composite (tooth colored filling material) bonding. Even though it was an emergency appointment Dr. Nguyen was able to place a cosmetic filling by adding characterization and shading to it to make it look as natural as possible. If you look closely at the before the tooth has seen some years and wasn't completely straight and thus the filling to fix it wasn't made completely straight otherwise that wouldn't look as natural. Our patient couldn't be happier at the simple fix, he just has to stay away from popcorn with his front teeth from now on!
